the press conference for the 9th International Forum for the Arts of People with Special Abilities “Awladna” was held, integrated with the Afro-Chinese Arts and Folklore Festival, under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
The artistic celebration kicked off at the Hanager Arts Center at the Cairo Opera House, with the participation of a number of stars of art and creativity, including the artist Nadia Mostafa, who performed the song “Our Children Are Our Responsibility”, produced by the Awladna Foundation, with lyrics by poet Abdullah Hassan and composed and arranged by Sherif Hamdan
The celebration also featured artistic and performance shows presented by the children and youth of “Awladna”, with the participation of international troupes, alongside art exhibitions and workshops. All of these highlighted the creativity of people of determination from different countries and emphasized the importance of integrating them into society through the arts.
The forum’s activities will take place from September 18 to 25, 2025, at the Grand Theater of the Cairo Opera House, under the slogan “Color It with Joy.” The event is organized in cooperation with the Ministries of Culture, Social Solidarity, Youth and Sports, Immigration, Tourism and Antiquities, Planning and Economic Development, and Investment, in addition to the National Council for Women, reflecting the extent of official and societal support for this international platform.
