Mariam Sherif Shines at “Awladna” Forum Opening Ceremony
Actress Mariam Sherif, star of the film Snow White, co-hosted the opening ceremony of the 8th edition of the “Awladna” International Forum for the Arts of People with Special Abilities, held on September 18 at Cairo Opera House.
Joining stars Rania Farid Shawky and Mido Adel, Mariam impressed with her strong stage presence and heartfelt message to the participating children:
"You are the real heroes... Stay proud of yourselves — you are a source of inspiration and positive energy for all of us.
Mariam, who broke stereotypes by leading Snow White as a little person, was rightfully honored at the forum. Her role as a presenter highlighted the inclusive message that people with disabilities are not just part of the event — they are at its forefront.
The forum, held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, hosted participants from over 53 countries and featured performances, workshops, and discussions promoting inclusion through art and culture.
